OUR
History
A fixture in the community since 1915, the East Moline Public Library has been in its current building for 84 years. The library is governed by a 9 member Board and is supported by local property taxes. Over the last century, the library has worked diligently to provide materials and programs that encourage members of our community to be lifelong learners. We’ve worked hard to stay up-to-date in our community offerings by expanding to accommodate evolving demographics. We now offer such diverse programs as teen coding club, bilingual storytimes, and adult craft nights.
